In an era of increasingly intense business competition, companies are required to manage their human resources effectively and efficiently, particularly in measuring and evaluating employee workloads accurately. Poorly managed workloads can potentially reduce productivity and service quality. Work measurement plays a role as an objective instrument in determining standard time and employee workload, while time management serves as an important approach to improving work effectiveness and efficiency. However, a common issue faced by many organizations is the absence of a structured time recording system, making it difficult for companies to monitor workload distribution, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions. This condition is also experienced by PT SuMoIn, which has a high level of employee work activity but is not yet supported by an adequate time reporting system. This study aims to design a web-based time reporting information system to assist the company in systematically recording, monitoring, and evaluating employees’ working time. The method used in developing this system is the waterfall method, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, coding and testing, implementation, and system maintenance. The system is developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study indicate that a web-based time reporting information system is the most suitable solution. It is expected that the designed system can improve the effectiveness of human resource management and support more accurate decision-making at PT SuMoIn.
